The first ever Real Radio and Scottish Sun, Scottish Variety Awards, recognising Scotland's rising stars of the future, took place on Sunday 22 February at the glamorous Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow.
Cotton Candy Corsage donated a vintage button corsage brooch as a raffle prize for the event, which saw ten awards dished out to Scotland's young and fledgling stars, hosted by Real Radio's Robin Galloway and Cat Harvey. Robin and Cat were accompanied by a host of celebrity guest presenters, from Actor David Hayman to STV's 5.30 Show presenters Vikki Lee and Gerry McCulloch.
Real Radio Football Phone in Presenter Ewen Cameron hosted an exciting auction, in which Rangers Captain Barry Ferguson bid £2,000 for a guest slot on the show and a chance to have his say on the popular phone-in programme! All money raised from the night - £15,000 - will be donated to CHAS, Real Radio's chosen charity and kicks off fundraising for this year's 'Bring a £ to work day' on 5th March.
Paolo Nutini received a special award for Outstanding Performance and came along on the night to accept his award.
An amazing night was rounded off with a very special performance from Sandi Thom, who wowed award goers with her hits and a very cool cover-version of Gnarles Barkley's 'Crazy.'
