March 2008 – Say No To Plastic, Oran Mor

Oran Mor, the stunning converted Church in Glasgow's West End, was the venue for a fantastic vintage sale which was organised by Heather Suttie and celeb friends to raise funds for The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice and children's charity NCH Scotland, also promoting Heather's eco movement Say No To Plastic.

On a mission to rid Scotland of plastic bags, tickets for the event (£10) included a 'Say No To Plastic' jute bag, plus goodies from Aveda, a glass of champagne and canapés. It was a brilliant day, with hundreds of vintage bargains from leather bags and glamorous dresses to hand-embroidered tablecloths and timeless tea sets!
